2008 Ted Johnson Four
ball
Registration Information
We hope that you are interested in participating in this
years Ted Johnson Four-Ball. Last
fall we initiated a questionnaire to solicit input for improving upon what has
already been a successful event. We
have continued this dialogue with many members this year and have made changes
that reflect these ideas and concerns. The following is a description of the changes we have made for this years
event
- Lowered the base price from $385 team to $295 team
- Eliminated the qualifying round to make Thursday an optional day
- Thursday will be for those teams wishing to take a practice round
- For those taking practice rounds on Thursday we will offer a two-ball event
as well as a skins game. (Both
are optional and have a separate fee attached)
- We will seed teams into divisions including Championship based on current handicap index
- All divisions will have 8 teams
- We are
offering a Senior Division if both players are 55 years of age or older
(Minimum of 8 teams required… All teams will go into regular divisions if not
enough participate in a senior division. Multiples of 8 only)
- All
cash awards will be optional to the participants such as a player’s pool per
division. $60 team entry. (If all teams in a division participate
$480 will be in the pool with the Champions and Runner’s up receiving a cut of
the pool)

Eliminated the Thursday steak roast
- Added
complimentary beer, snacks and food after golf behind the 18th green
on three days
- We have
gone back to a 3 hole playoff for the one loss teams in the Consolation Division
on Sunday to determine one Consolation winner
- Increased the overall Golf Shop payouts for 1st, 2nd and
Consolation winners
- Brought
Back the Long Drive competition on Sat. Evening and added a most accurate
contest.
(Both will have a qualifier
during the Thursday practice round and first round on Friday)
