Welcome to Hickory Ridge Country Club and our new website, we hope you will find the site informative and user friendly.

Hickory Ridge is a family owned, semi private Cornish/Robinson designed golf course located in the western Massachusetts town of Amherst.

Amherst is the home of Amherst College, UMASS and Hampshire College.

Your round at Hickory Ridge will have you enjoying very large undulating bent grass greens, liberal driving areas and a variety of tees to suit your game.

Mountain vistas, the meandering Fort River and thousands of New England trees will greet you as well as a staff committed to "Provide our members and guests a pleasurable golf experience that will exceed their expectations, every time!"

There is no better place for a young person to spend their summer than at a golf course, especially a course that will welcome and encourage them, teach them the game, it's rules and etiquette.

We recognize that new juniors need to learn the game and our golf staff will assist you in this endeavor.

Hickory Ridge has a very special offer for you to give your child or children (under 16) a membership to Hickory Ridge.

We are offering a free membership to the children of all unlimited adult members

Dress Code Reminders
Hickory Ridge takes pride in demanding a proper dress code, the same that is expected at any other public or private golf course. The dress code will apply to the golf course as well as the clubhouse.

Dress Code: Collared shirts and shorts of Bermuda length, or slacks. Jeans are not allowed. Women are allowed designer t-shirts and golf skirts. Barefoot and shirtless are not allowed on the course or in the clubhouse. In summary, golfers' dress must be acceptable in length, clean, and in good repair.

(Note: Bermuda length shorts applies to men and women.)
